How to use CoviSelf kit:

• To do the Covid Self Test Kit, first of all, you need to open the MyLab app on your phone.

• After that, you have to open your covid test kit.

• In the kit, you will get a pre-filled extraction tube, a sterile nasal swab, one test card, and a biohazard bag.

• Then you have to take the extraction tube and roll it several times in your nose, you have to roll in both nostrils.

• After that, you have to check Tube in a test card.

• At the time of the test, you will take a total of 2 minutes, but the result will take time to arrive.

• If your result takes 5-7 minutes then you are covid positive and if your result takes 15 minutes then you are covid negative.

• There will be two sections in the test card: the control section and the other is the test section.

• If your bar shows towards the control section, it means that you are negative.

But if your bar looks towards both the control and test section, you are covid positive.

• After completing the test, you will have to click on the photo of your test card and make it available on MyLab coviself app.

How to download user guide (or user manual) for performing the test:

• Visit the Official website of Coviself

• Click on the three line icon, that is on the top right side of the home page.

• Select 'user manual' from the drop down list that appears after clicking the three line icon.

• Then again click on the three line icon that is located on the below of the picture.

• Click on the language in which you want to download the user manual.

• After clicking on the language, the user manual will automatically start downloading in your device.

• So, this is how you can download the user manual for using the Coviself kit.

ICMR Advisory Currently, Home testing by Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) is advised in symptomatic individuals and immediate contacts of confirmed positive cases.

For Negative Test: Symptomatic individuals identified negative by RAT should be linked with RTPCR test facility and subsequently get tested by RT-PCR to rule out infection. In the meantime, such individual will be urged to follow home isolation and treatment as a negative report on RAT may not be true negative in some cases
